PRIVACY & YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy policy.

A straightforward explanation of information handled through the KeyBoardSmashers website and support inbox.

Effective date: October 31, 2026

This policy covers this website and support emails. A released game needs privacy disclosures that match its own features and services. No game-specific data practices are represented by this website policy.

1. Who we are & scope

KeyBoardSmashers is an independent, personally run game-development project. This privacy policy applies to keyboardsmashers.com and messages sent to our support email, dev@keyboardsmashers.com.

2. Information we handle

Website visits. The website’s own code does not add advertising, analytics scripts, account registration, or tracking cookies. Our hosting and security providers may process technical request information, such as your IP address, browser information, pages requested, and request time, to deliver and protect the website.

Support messages. If you email us, your message includes your email address, any name you provide, the message contents, and any attachments or device details you choose to send. Please avoid sending passwords, full payment-card details, or identity documents.

Copying the email address. The support page can copy our address to your clipboard when you press the copy button. This action runs in your browser and does not submit a message to us.

3. Use & service providers

Support information is used to answer questions, investigate reported issues, respond to feedback, and handle privacy requests. Technical request information may be used to deliver the website, maintain reliability, and prevent abuse.

We use service providers for website hosting and security, and Zoho Mail for our email inbox. These providers may process the information needed to perform those services. Their own privacy notices explain their processing and retention practices.

We do not sell support correspondence or use it for advertising. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect the security of our services or address abuse.

4. Retention & security

Support correspondence is retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond to the request, resolve related issues, and meet applicable legal or security needs. Hosting and email providers maintain their own technical logs and retention practices.

The website uses HTTPS. Access to the support inbox is restricted to the people handling KeyBoardSmashers development and support. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

5. Privacy requests

To ask about information you have sent us, or to request access, correction, or deletion of support correspondence, email dev@keyboardsmashers.com with “Privacy request” in the subject.

Tell us which message, game, or service your request concerns. We may need to confirm that the request relates to your information before acting on it. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security, or ongoing support purposes; if that affects your request, we will explain.

This website does not create player accounts. If a future game offers accounts, its game-specific policy and store listing must explain the applicable account and data-deletion process.

6. Game-specific policies

KeyBoardSmashers games are at an early stage, and this website does not currently list public game releases. Before a game is released, its privacy information needs to identify the game and describe the data handled by its actual features and any services it uses, such as advertising, analytics, purchases, or cloud services.

For a released game, use the privacy policy linked from that game or its official store listing. This website policy should not be used to declare that an unreleased game collects no data.

7. Policy updates

We may update this policy as the website or support practices change. The effective date at the top identifies the latest version. Questions about this policy can be sent to dev@keyboardsmashers.com.
